Ryoko is based on the word Travelling in Japanese. The back story consists of a small group of Japanese automotive enthusiasts from small town Cold Lake, Alberta. With an abundance of lifted trucks and classic muscle cars being the primary focus of this Northern Alberta community, the need to travel to larger city centres such as Calgary and Edmonton was necessary for the JDM scene.  Some members would attend the larger shows with other established groups or tuner shops until one day several came together and said why not get a group together ourselves. EST 2017, Ryoko Kings will be active in the automotive scene in Alberta documenting the builds, events, and enjoying the open road.
